Imagine an office where you could wear your footie-pyjamas in the morning, have some delicious free nosh from the fridge at lunch, and enjoy a lovely after-work IPA. If you think this sounds like the coolest place to hang your hat, you’re right — and you’re already there. Intrigued? Read on.

Our client has one of those stories you love to see: they started off in someone’s house, worked their way up to a tiny office, then a bigger office, and finally, to the best office of all — your house. That’s right, this domain management service is totally remote, meaning you can wear those snuggly jams all day long if you want.

This fun and engaged team is looking to hire a fully remote Perl developer for a 1 year contract (with probable renewal), working on a Catalyst app but with all sorts of exciting other stuff: Elixir, CouchDB, RabbitMQ and FreeBSD everywhere.

Having experience in the domain-name industry is a plus.Located in Germany, this company is open to remote workers from all over Europe, but you may score bonus points if you’re located in Munich or Saarland. After all, how will you join the office foosball tournament if your home office is in Bratislava?

The whole world has just become your workplace. Will you log in from your local coffee shop, the beach, or maybe a cozy corner of your bed where the pillows are arranged just right? The choice is yours, but don’t delay: send us an email today, because this role is going to go fast!

Skills and Experience

Client is particularly keen on someone who knows Modern Perl, but’s also comfortable doing sysadmin tasks. It’s a small and engaged team, and a combination of both would be useful – bonus points if the sysadmin experience is on FreeBSD. They also use some interesting supporting technologies: Elixir, CouchDB, and RabbitMQ, and either experience or enthusiasm for those would go down well.
