It is easy being green …

There are plenty of perks to living in a big city—the nightlife, tons of amenities, and transportation to get you from A to B—but big cities often mean concrete jungles without much green space. Not so in Cyberjaya; this tech-driven city has a huge park, and it’s situated right next to Putrajaya, which has parks, wetlands, and botanical gardens for all your greenspace needs. Ready for big city vibes with little town greenery? Then read on!

Next to Putrajaya and a short drive from Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya is Silicon Valley’s new up-and-coming rival. A science part boasting many international corporations, Cyberjaya has a 400-acre nature park, tons of restaurants and bars for post-work bites and beverages with coworkers, and a whole roster of fun amenities to keep you moving: tennis and basketball courts, swimming pools, a driving range, and when you have the need for speed, a go-kart track! Maybe you can’t use the go-kart to get to work, but Cyberjaya DOES have an eScooter sharing service. Nothing like a lakeside pedal after hours!

Our client is a financial company whose growth over the last twenty years has been nothing short of impressive. They started with the idea that online trading should be available to all, and from there, they’ve built a company with multiple locations worldwide. If you want to be part of a business that is thriving, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Between Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, and Kuala Lumpur, you’ll have plenty of exploring to do when you’re not at work … but perhaps your weekends will see you traveling further afield? You’re only a short drive from Air Asia’s home airport, so you’ll be able to jet off to a new city every weekend if you get tired of the pretty gardens of home.

If you’re primed and ready for your next adventure in one of Malaysia’s newest, greenest, most well-planned cities, then email us today!

Why Apply with Perl Careers?

Some of our clients you may already be familiar with, and some you'll have never heard of. But in our opinion, you're always best off applying through Perl Careers. Why?

  • We'll work with you to make sure your CV / résumé is the strongest it can be before we submit it; we know what our clients are looking for, and we'll work with you to make sure your most relevant experience is highlighted;
  • We can chase your application and argue your case in a way that would look pushy if you did it; we have strong relationships with our clients, they trust our advice, and we talk to them very frequently;
  • We have the same interest in getting a great salary as you do; our remuneration is based on a percentage of your starting salary, and we know how much the client is willing to pay -- we do a lot of negotiation behind the scenes.

It won't shock you to know that we know these are complicated and confusing times, and so do our clients. Bearing that in mind, there'll be a lot of flexibility with how your new role comes together. Whether that means that you start the first few months of your next job working at home, or delay relocating for a new role, we'll work with you and our clients to make sure you can start your next role safetly and in line with health advice.
