Thought-Leader Wanted. Chief Software Architect role in Malaysia (or elsewhere)
Kuala Lumpur (see more)
Depending on experience
This role isn’t for everyone, but it might be for you!
Some are meant to lead; others are meant to follow. The followers are important — no company can exist without a dedicated pool of workers — but for this role we’re holding out for a hero. A mentor. Someone who can advise, assess, and deliver on goals. In short, we’re looking for a leader. Is it you?
As Chief Software Architect for an international company providing online trading services, you’ll work closely with the Chief Technology Officer. With a strong understanding of the full stack of software development and cloud technologies, you’ll mentor engineering teams and provide guidance in solving technical issues. Combining your technical know-how with practical business acumen, you’ll work to propose system architecture plans that accelerate deployment.
A good leader wants to go where their talents are needed, so lean in while we give you the scoop on this impressive organization. In the past four years, their staff count has exploded. Doubled? Nah. Tripled? Not even close. Try sextupled. With a business volume that has grown even faster, there’s a backlog of projects and initiatives and a need to manage the growing staff tackling those projects. This delicious challenge is primed and ready for the right person to dive in.
In an ideal world, you’ll be on-site in Malaysia. Malta or Dubai would do in a pinch as this global company has offices there, too. However, if you’re reading this from Cairo or Buenos Aires and think you’re the star candidate they’re looking for, you’re not out of the running. Our client knows the value of a strong leader and even if you’re located outside their preferred places, they want to hear from you.
This role isn’t for everyone, but it might be the challenge you’ve been looking for. Intrigued? Send us your CV today and tell us why!
